Cuan Chaitriona has set aside a room specifically as a Dementia care activity room. Every day six to eight residents spend the day in this special room having their meals together, taking part in activities, games, arts and crafts, and relaxation sessions. To some residents it feels like a day out. For many it is proving to be a chance to shine, feeling secure in a small group. Their concentration on tasks has noticeably improved, they are socialising easier and want to talk more than before. We will up date you further as this project progresses.
